Industrial Revolution
For some odd reason people think that because the world is industrialized, it has become better and more advanced. In no way, shape, or form is industrialization advancement or what we should be doing right now. If anything we need to tear some of this ugly stuff down. Buildings and city sky scrapers have ruined good land and beautiful landscapes, but for what? So we can
pay three bucks for some coffee in the morning just because our BUSY life doesn't allow us to have enough time in the morning to make it ourselves. Then again, why are our lives so busy? Our lives are so busy BECAUSE of industrialization, or so called "advancement in the human race." I'd hate to sit here and regurgitate information I've said in the past blogs, but we've made our lives far too complex for the time allotted. Bushmen take 3 hours a day to get what they need, but for some reason we feel the need to take 8-10. Wake up, undress, shower, clothe, coffee, start the car, drive 45 minutes out of the way to sit and "work" for 8 hours, drive 45 minutes back, woof down a burger from a McStore, spend 10 minutes with your kids, sleep for 6 hours dreading the alarm clock at 5 which starts the vicious cycle over. Why wake up at the crack of dawn? Why dress and shower? Who's to say we need to be clean? Who's to say we can't walk around without cloths on? Why are we so codependant on the world to provide us with answers and NOT question why our lives suck so much. Sorry to be so harsh as to say suck, but compared to the Bushmen, it does.
